Manage your own success…The Art of Optimism

I recently took an assement that provides a calculation on how optimistic you are based on answers provided that have been scientifically validated. This was one of several assessments that I was required to take during a course on Leadership in Organizations. The results from the optimism assessment categorized me in the top quartile. I strongly believe that success comes to those who desire nothing less. When you keep positive thoughts in your mind and share your positive feelings with others, you naturally attract positive results. Does that mean that you are exempt from tribulations in your life; absolutely not. But in my opinion it does mean that you will have a higher likelihood for success because your thoughts will always be fixated on what can be done. That success can be translated into any area in life. There are several theories about the “law of attraction” that suggest similar findings. Although scientists have not confirmed that positive vibes translate into positive outcomes in one’s life, it is evident to me that living life through an open lens is simply more fun and less stressful.

Below is an article that I found on the internet that seems to summarize my feelings on the topic. Ultimately I believe that anyone can live a much fuller life by actively engaging in their own success.
