Support from random people...

I'm only two days into this workout program and I've noticed some very weird things from those around me at work. Some folks have been very negative or simply don't care to hear about such an intense workout schedule. Questioning why I have to do this or why I need to do it now. Someone told me today that they don't like all these people around them trying to get fit, so why am I joining in.

Others have been very supportive but cautious. They've asked that I watch myself and not do anything "crazy".

The over-whelming majority though are pushing me to continue and do my best. Many want to do the same thing and would like to see my results when I'm done in 58 days.

Overall letting others know about your goals has the potential to inspire others, feed your own drive and open up doors that you may not have known were even possible. I'm doing this because change hurts but is usually necessary to achieve new heights. Life without challenges is just boring.

After attending a leadership forum with Laysha Ward, President of Target Foundation today for lunch she mentioned something very timely. If you are doing something with a positive intent, don't let any negative comments come between you and your goal. Press forward without a doubt that it's the right thing for you to do.

I'm pressing on.
