I've continued to stay true to logging my intake of anything into my body. Keeping that mindset has definitely made me aware of where I could potentially fall short of my goals. I continue to get tested by events that through me off of my routine and I need a better plan to be able to respond to them. With so many family related events that prompt quick meals which are unplanned I have to continue to be diligent with my program.

The workout this morning focused on power and resistance. Interesting how quickly I forgot how hard this particular workout is and I seemed to burnout at a similar place as well. I workout at 5am and don't eat before hand. Only drinking water before the workout. Continuing with this approach seems to be my only option because I don't have the flexibility to adjust my schedule. To support this approach I've started drinking just today a recovery drink to help me prepare for the next day. Hopefully his will be enough to build up my stamina to power through even further each day.

One week in the books and I'm fired up to continue.
