Conquered the holiday party...

I've conquered the holiday potluck with one of the most healthiest dishes; my Very Berry Fruit Mix. A healthy blend of raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and blueberries served in a cup. At an average of 85 calories per cup, I thwarted the temptation to eat all those other tasty treats and opted for the healthy alternatives.

I've realized that I'm on the extreme end sticking to my plan. Others today mentioned that they were also working on a plan to loose weight, eat better and get fit. Unfortunately their plates didn't reflect the same. I also realize that people close to me may be looking at what I'm doing and feel obligated to do the same or compete. A co-worker mentioned that they like what I'm doing an what to join me but dot think they can do it at the same level. My advice; it's not about competing. It's about getting the inspiration to change and doing what's best for you. What's right for me may not be right for you. Do you and I'ma do me. That should be enough.

My wife is ready to take the plunge into better eating habits and a more fit lifestyle as well. This is exciting because having support from your closest loved ones is key.

These workouts aren't getting any easier. When the call is to go as fast or as hard as you can each time, it never really gets easier. But I do feel that I'm responding better. By the time I "get it", it'll be time to move to the very max phase in month two. Whoa, scary.
