Consistency. Change.

There are times in life where change is not necessary or the season. When you have found success in an area of your life it may be the best course of action to repeat. How well are you at being consistently great?

I'm not a very good basketball player. But I on occasion go to the gym to shoot hoops and I like to practice free throws. While practicing free throws the method that works best is staying consistent with a routine. Follow the same approach, same pattern and with as small a degree of error as possible. What is the result; swish everytime. When that degree of error increases beyond an acceptable norm, you increase the likelihood of failure. Sports provide a great example of how those same processes can be implemented in life.

Inevitably change is always needed. Seismic change in some cases where you are completely off course and in many cases minor tweaks to course correct. But if and when you find that groove of winning, stay the course. Bring others with you and lead the way.

Be the Grand Canyon. The minor changes of the day doesn't impact the majestic beauty if it's consistency over millions of years.
